Conference at IES Ítaca

Students of 1º ESO, 4º ESO and 1º BACH

The local office of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) in the Community of Madrid, Spain, has launched a Catalogue of Scientific Conferences targeted at the Educational System within the Community.

As part of this initiative, the Food Proteins Group from the Institute of Food Science Research (CIAL, CSIC-UAM) in Madrid, Spain, visited the Ítaca Institute of Secondary Education (IES Ítaca) in Alcorcón, Spain, on February 21^st, 2024 and presented a lecture on “Seaweeds as alternative sources of proteins” to an audience of 1º ESO, 4º ESO and 1º Bachillerato (i.e. 7^th, 10^th and 11^th Grade in the US, respectively) students.
